By creating an account or using Writer's Block, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old to use this Platform. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Platform.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish on Writer's Block, including writings, reviews, comments, and other materials ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Platform.

Content Standards

You agree that your User Content will not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Contain defamatory, obscene, or offensive material
• Promote violence, discrimination, or illegal activities
• Contain spam, malware, or deceptive content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

When using Writer's Block, you agree NOT to:

• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated means to access or scrape the Platform
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
• Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
• Engage in any activity that could harm our reputation or operations
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose

• Some features may require purchase of tokens or subscriptions
• All payments are processed securely through our payment providers
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice
• Tokens are non-refundable except where required by law
• Creator payouts are subject to our Creator Program terms and minimum thresholds
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes

6. Intellectual Property

Writer's Block and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Writer's Block and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our trademarks, logos, and service marks may not be used without our prior written consent.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Any defects will be corrected
• The results obtained from using the Platform will be accurate or reliable
• User Content will be preserved or backed up

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WRITER'S BLOCK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Writer's Block and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or for any reason with notice
• Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, but certain provisions survive
• We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our Platform or sending an email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
